Our course opened up this week and I pulled a Spieth classic yesterday!.. Coming off a birdie on #16 that put me at +1 for the day, I was feeling really good about myself. Then this happens: my first tee shot on #17 hits a house left OB. My second tee shot hits a house right OB. My third tee shot doesn't get off the ground but rolls in the hard and dry fairway to about 220 out. I hit a sloppy hybrid about 30 yards short. Skid a chip about 30 feet past the pin but drained the long putt for a smooth 8. Par 18 for a 76 (course is par 71). Woulda shoulda coulda...shot a real nice 73 today but made bad bogeys on 17 and 18 (missed greens inside 100 yards on both).
Course is playing short due to hard and dry fairways and greens are really slow making scoring ideal right now..thus the 76 and 73
