Fields been playing good for the Bears when he has been healthy..wasn't he a 5th or 6th rounder?
and the 2nd quarterback taken by his own team?
still, he is by far the best quarterback the B1G has produced since brees (20ish years ago)
They have great offensive lines. That helps. They also run offenses that work in cold weather as opposed to West Coast trash offenses. They recruit for their needs and styles of offense and defense as opposed to finding the top 5 guys out of Florida, etc. Good coaching also plays a role.tough kids, under recruited
Jacks and Bison have been good for decades, many decades. Bison started winning national titles (17) back in the 60s and haven't stopped. Jacks (14) started in the 20s but have taken a back seat to NDSU up to this year; the bison dominance should logically end in Frisco. Jacks are the better team. They have great offensive lines.
