Going into last year's Nebraska at CU game, there was a lot of attention on Colorado and the way Deion had overhauled his roster. Ironically, Husker fans probably glossed over a lot of issues with Nebraska's roster. It dawned on me yesterday that the Huskers had a lot more inexperience going into that game than CU:

Defensive Starters: (Ty Robinson was suspended during the first half)

Nash Hutmacher - making his 2nd career start
Cam Lenhardt- making his 1st career start
Blaise Gunnerson - making his 1st career start
Luke Reimer - start number 20
Mikai Gbayor - making first career start
John Bullock - career start #2
Omar Brown - 4th career start
Quinton Newsome - 22nd career start
Malcolm Hartzog - 9th career start
DeShon Singleton - 2nd career start
Isaac Gifford - 14th career start

Defensive Reserves in that game:

Van Poppel - playing in first career game - he missed the Minnesota game
Kai Wallin - playing in 2nd career game
Sua Lefotu - playing in 1st career game
Koby Bretz - playing in 1st career game
Chief Borders - playing in 2nd career game at Nebraska
Garret Snodgrass - playing first substantial minutes
Jacob Herbek - playing first substantial minutes in his career
Phalen Sanford - probably the most experienced reserve that day.
Jimari Butler - 2nd career game with substantial minutes
Nick Hendrich - limited snaps due to injury
Javin Wright - 2nd career game playing MLB
Jeudy- 2nd career game

Ty Robinson - did not play until 2nd half
MJ Sherman - only played 8 snaps with an injury
Tommi Hill - limited PT due to calf injury

Offensive Starters:

Jeff Sims - 2nd game at Nebraska in new offense (which was really secondary to how much he sucked anyway)
Gabe Ervin - only 4th career start in injury plagued career
Thomas Fidone- 2nd career start and game
Nate Boerkircher - 2nd career start
Alex Bullock - 1st career start
Marcus Washington - 8th career start

Offensive line was the only experienced unit and they actually didn't play that bad.

Reserves:

Billy Kemp - 2nd career game at Nebraska
Malachai Coleman - 2nd career game
Bonner - 2nd career game
Rahmir- injury

Maybe we should've all seen that debacle coming last season.
