I though we had a kid from my home town Beatrice, Cameron Jurgens. Kid is a beast, he's also good at basketball, seen him dunk it more then a few times. He's also a very good LB.

Yes your correct, he is a 2018 kid. Wow I didn't realize he was that young still, and he's owning the class B division already.
We offered him last year when he was a sophomore. So I think that makes him the class of '18.

Riley and his staff are better recruiters than Pelini and staff. But not by much. This year's recruiting was B- material. The failure to recruit a single defensive tackle will come back to haunt this staff in two years. And even though we got Farniok we desperately needed another quality offensive tackle. Games are won in the trenches and this class was very average in that regard.
And zero recruits yet for 2017? Count me among those who still think Riley has a long, long way to go toward restoring Nebraska to elite status. A good start would be to not lose 7 games next year. He seems very good, over his career, at producing losing seasons. So despite the sunshine pumping of posters like HTO and Archie, I remain firmly in the unconvinced and unimpressed camp. So far Riley has done zilch. Slightly above average recruiting and a losing season. That is what I see. Everything else is hype and hot air.

Riley better start sleeping over at recruits homes. Maybe he can claim dibs on the top bunk. We should all start bitching now cuz Riley should have this class half filled out by now. And not with those crappy 3 star recruits. He needs FIVE STAR STUDS cuz that's what Harbaugh and Meyer are doing.

What exactly have I suggested that is untrue regarding our staff?
1) I gave the class a solid B grade. Sounds like we are on the same page there.
2) I noted our coaches made the decision to only take a DT if he was a stud. I never said I agreed with that decision.
3) Another OT would have been nice. I agree. Though I'm glad we saved the ship if we didn't like what was left.
4) Silly to be worried about 2017 commits right now.
5) Win more games? Ground-breaking addition.
HTO and/or myself haven't said anything else except that past results in a given context aren't necessarily a predictor of the future in a new context.

I understand that not everybody agrees with the coaching decision, and everybody has a right to an opinion... But it sure gets old reading it again and again.
Is it really too much to ask for people to give the coaches a little more time before skewering them?

The OP is a shot at those who were constantly moaning about our low ranking BEFORE the recruiting season ended. Why aren't these posters moaning about 2017 yet? What's sad is this attempt at humor actually got a response from the crowd that was maiming about 2016, and now, a week later, are already moaning about 2017. Pretty amazing, really.
