Does the single digit jersey honor reset each offseason?
This is one of my only personal curmudgeon views haha. I feel like in general a jersey number should be special and synonymous with the player throughout their career. The idea that someone like Nash or Robinson could theoretically have 3 different jersey numbers in 3 different years doesn't seem right. Imagine Frazier starting off as #15 and then suddenly as a junior he's #2 or whatever? Grant Wistrom being #98 and then suddenly one year he's #5? It doesn't compute in my sports fan-brain... Is it just me? Am I becoming old fashioned?
