SIAP: Sipple NU record doesn

Not sure what sip is trying to prove here other than he's still got his buddy's back 100%.

It is a reasonable commentary. The talent drop off from last year to this year, if any, wasn't large enough to account for 3-6 by itself. Injuries, learning a new scheme, and maybe just some "bad luck" may account for some of it. Question is how much of it, if any, is due to weak coaching.

Really strange article. It kind of feels like it was written for the sole purpose of persuading everyone that Bo was a good recruiter.

There is no question we have talent at certain positions but we all so don't have quality depth at other positions and the fact the defense has looked like he hasn't bought into Bankers scheme especially the secondary.

Every OC salivates when looking at how he db's are coached. Throwing up the hands as an escort service; or maybe they are just beat - in any case N fans are now throwing up their hands - or just up

It's hard to blame talent when we've had enough talent to win every game we've lost - we've had the lead in the 4th quarter of most of those games.

I think if Nebraska played solid and somewhat mistake free football like they did against Minnesota we would be sitting with two losses at most. It all starts with the basics and as it stands right now the basics are seriously lacking with how sloppy these guys play together as a team.

I don't normally read Sipple so I could be off, but just by the titles of his articles it seems like he's low key trying to stir up sh@t with reverse psyc and back handed compliments. Now that by itself might not be a big deal given our record but it goes against how he has always defended the prior coaches - even Callahan for the most part. He apparently has changed his policy in the same manner as Eichorst.

Sips just saying talent isn't 3 wins bad and that coaching/scheme is s factor. Interesting the entire media contingent expected 7+ wins.
