SIAP: McCord turned down our NIL offer?

agree with your second sentence 100%

zero chance McCord's numbers look anything close to what they were this year with Satt running the show

In hindsight things happened exactly they way they were supposed to. McCord elevated his draft stock, we got a 5* qb that is as committed to Nebraska as it comes in this environment. (looks as if he may play for the same school 2 years in row🤞🏼) And we ultimately got rid of our lead anchor of an offensive coordinator.

Imagine if McCord would’ve came here, we lose out on Riaola, but we ultimately win 2 more games (8-4) and keep Satterfield for another season. All while Dana Holgerson ends up at Wisconsin or Iowa. 😳

Like I said, sometimes things work out exactly like they should. Even if we don’t love the way we got here…

Ok. And we determined that QB play was not the difference in Nebraska being ranked or unranked so McCord would have been a non factor. Which was discussed in this thread ad nauseam.
yes, Nebraska as a program needs a lot more help and improvement than just at QB.

Syracuse, on the other hand, finds itself back in the top 25 after their QB addition led the country in passing.

it's interesting that many wanted another Syracuse coach to come to NU after White left.

I agree and stated that it worked out for all parties many, many times in this thread even without the benefit of hindsight.

Spot on. We would’ve won a couple more games but likely not in a position to grow next year like I believe we are right now. Especially with DR, DH and the WRs coming in.

Being rated at some point during the season is as
worthless like a tits on a bore.
Easy to say when you’ve spent 4 weeks total (counting preseason) in the top 25 since 2016 like we have

For most, being ranked matters
