Yup! This prediction is a legit speculative N, not a bunch of fan-boy clickbait like the Clemson one for Bookie.
In my opinion, we have an excellent chance at landing this guy if we keep it up. And yes, pairing this kid up with Guy Thomas as our starting OLB's next year would be SCARY. We could focus our big dudes on the line and have these two terrorizing QB's all game. It would be siiiiiick.
Don't think Micah doesn't know that, by the way. Kids want to come to a school that has a shot at winning, yes, but when you're an elite talent like he is, you also want to come to a place that will treat you well, let you play a lot, and get you in front of a wider audience so that your NFL draft chances go up. Nebraska fits all of those things for Micah, plus he happened to have a great visit here. We have a decent shot, I'd say.
Comparing Wiltfong to Fravel is like comparing the CEO of a bank to a teller. If you are a betting man I like the CEO's knowledge of the situation a hell of a lot more then the tellers. Either way I am not comfortable with the Bookie situation as you all know, and that was before the CB prediction from Fravel

Actually those are not very fast 100 or 200 meter times. Fast for his size, but I think his quickness and agility are bigger selling points.
Penn State did back and it sounds like so is Ohio State. Tremendous tAlent but he is going to have managed as he is a load.

Wiltfong from 247 is reporting that both schools have cooled on him and that Nebraska is recruiting him hardest. On the same report he felt PSU is likely to land Tyreke Smith or Jayson Oweh or both. Ohio State is also heavily recruiting Oweh and Smith.

Thanks, I do still find it odd that he is taking a visit this weekend if PSU has "cooled" on him.
His official visit is this weekend? I read he might be coming but not his official visit. He can visit often since he is close. He can verbally commit again too, but no one should take him serious until he signs and shows up on campus next fall. If I was his coach I'd also ban him from using twitter.
Interesting info, if true. All I know is we need him and he'll play day 1 if he comes here. I don't care who cools on him and who continues to recruit him hard. Husker fans saw pretty clearly the type of athlete he is at FNL. I will say one thing for certain - we need him worse than either PSU or OSU does.

It appears that way, but he has visited PSU a few times after he decommitted and is going to use all 5 off his official visits. Plus he has a good friend already committed to PSU. I can't speak for Ohio State, but I'm confident PSU would take him but the staff isn't going to be held hostage by him nor are they going invest a ton of time on him. Franklin already asked him stop taking visits and they came to a mutual understanding that was best if he decommitted. Of course we would liked him to stop taking visits and recommit.
Ohio State I think would take him too, but it usually upsets a coaching staff and locker room when a recruit is demanding QB changes. It's like if Micah were to publicly question Riley and his staff after Tanner Hill's high number of interceptions against Oregon.
