Satterfield needs to be gone - period.

At this point I don't blame Satt. It's obviously been the QB play this season. Yes in hindsight you can always find/isolate a single play call to complain about but for the most part I think his playcalling has been adjusting to the talent (or lack of it) that he has on the squad.

He recruited Sims.

We haven’t scored a TD in any Big Ten game this year in the first quarter. Satterfield ****ing sucks. He sucked before Nebraska. He sucks now.

purdy's career at NU:

0 TD
5 INT

it's not possible and Satt has to know that
The 4 prior INTs mean nothing on what he could / couldn't do on that particular play.

Especially when they were all last year, lol

This is on Rhule. He has said his process is more important than getting to a bowl, I.e. winning. His process involves throwing the ball on the goal line, all other outcomes be damned…. So many data points to show this so we need to get used to it…
That's fair. He's got next year to look better than 5 wins and the third year to be pushing for at least 8-9 wins. Or else they'll all be gone like Riley.

I'm cheering for Rhule...I love the guy. But that 3rd and goal was...epochal...

I'm just disappointed. At least that was the worst game I had to watch today. .. Onward to good football the rest of the day.

Let me know when we have coach on offense that can help our players improve instead of regressing. Out...

they mean a lot

kid's arm is made of hospital kitchen jello

We don’t pay our players. Other teams do, and they have better players, more talented players, as a result. You saw what happened today.

They were in position to win this game (along with Minnesota and Michigan State) with or without paying players. Paying players has nothing to do with the offensive coordinator repeatedly forgetting his QBs suck and not calling plays accordingly.

they need a completely new offensive staff from the OC on down.. the only guy probably worth keeping is that young kid Maguire (not sure how it's spelled).

Totally agree it's made of Jello. That 3rd down pass to Kemp, I didn't think was going to get there.

His arm strength isn't why he didn't make a good pass. He actually over threw his WR.

he was throwing to Kemp and just couldn't get it there

not his fault

cannot believe an OC would put him in that spot

I’ve stood up for him all year because of injuries and lack of talent at QB.

After today, I’d like to see a change in the offensive coordinator. He waits until Sims turns it over for the 3rd time to pull him and that 3rd down play call. Just stupidity beyond f*cking belief
Is that Satterfield or Rhule's decision? Rhule seems to be the one that's really high on Sims.

The whole offensive staff needs to go. Need to get back to the days where the coordinator had a lot of say who is assistants are
What days were those? Pretty sure Osborne, Solich, and Callahan were micromanagers on offense, and even Pelini, a defensive minded coach, decided who his assistants were on both sides of the ball.

1 run inside the 10 in a game like that was not the picture he painted.

Do the semantics thing though.
What did he actually say so we know what you're complaining about?

Also, 2 out of 3 plays were run plays. That isn't enough for you? It had to be all 3 plays?

McBride got a lot of say in staff. Much of the reason offensive coordinator didn’t under Tom (you jackass) is because Tom called the plays and was officially oc most of his head coaching career. So technically, yes OC under TO did make a lot of hires cause the OC was HC most of the time. But again DC definitely did have a lot of say.

And yes BC didn’t. And yes Bo didn’t. That’s more reason for my point. Are you really claiming those guys to be the models?

11 months as a QB coach to teach 3 relatively experienced guys how to play the position, improve their skills, and run the offense.
Absolute failure to trot 3 guys out who are completely inept against 74th ranked passing defense.
They do nothing well. OC is not responsible for every turnover, but he is responsible for the cumulative 27? turnovers… and QBs who can’t run simple plays or make reads.
