Satterfield needs to be gone - period.

Satterfield is an incompetent A**HOLE!!!! Calling a pass play on third down with Purdy in when there is a sure FG. He did the same thing in first half that only makes the 4th quarter call worse. Does he watch the game? Does he see all the turnovers? He needs to be gone!

I’ve stood up for him all year because of injuries and lack of talent at QB.

After today, I’d like to see a change in the offensive coordinator. He waits until Sims turns it over for the 3rd time to pull him and that 3rd down play call. Just stupidity beyond f*cking belief
And he is the QB coach. Every single QB has gotten worse. He hand picked Sims. His play design is sorry. Last in the nation in turnovers by a wide margin. What exactly does he do for us ?

Pulling Sims should be Rhule’s decision. Purdy’s drive was damned impressive until the goal line play calls and ill advised pass

Yes, we'll find out if Rhule's got it or not. He has to cut people loose that aren't cutting it, this isn't intramurals.

kid showed some guts scurrying around out there

lollipop throw to kemp was hilarious

then he purdy'd his pants - not his fault, should never ever be in a position to have to make a play

Rhule now saying Purdy ran the wrong play on one of those goal line plays (not the INT). That doesn't help.

Honestly, I don't care if Satt is still OC next year for continuity's sake, but only if they move Martin back to an analyst, give Satterfield the TE coach label, and find a proven QB coach. One that can tell a kid when to just THROW THE DAMN BALL OUT OF BOUNDS instead of right at a defender in the end zone. Makes those play calls look less stupid.

The call on first and goal at the 5 was worse. Just keep running the ball and running the clock. If you get a TD - awesome. If not, you run another 2:00 - 2:30 off the clock, or make MD burn their timeouts. Either way, you make it very difficult for them.

We made it easy for them.

I've given him the benefit of the doubt all season. But at this point, this was the first game where coaching legitimately lost us a game.

Should've run it on 3rd and goal. Wtf pass there when the passing games been atrocious all game and year. Fg at least gives us something to take into final possession on defense. I understand playing to win and agreed with the Minnesota game call. But this late in the season in a game like this with knowing the team by now? Yikes.

Agree! He’s either too stubborn or in over his head. We don’t need anymore square peg in a round hole OCs here. Just someone who can game plan something that can be achieved and knows how to work with the personnel they have.

Most important thing along with getting a QB. Satt is not a QB coach, not that I’m sure it would have mattered all that much if we had Peetz with this room this year either.

Rhule needs to get a QB coach, have Satt coach TEs.

We lost by 3. Didn't Sims turn the ball over to give them 3 points.....just sayin.

Pretty sure it was a run play. Zone read, but the d-end played it perfectly so Purdy was forced to either take a sack or throw it away.

It wasn't a designed pass.

One thing I saw on Purdy's drive was he actually threw the ball away instead of just eating a sack. Then of course he throws an INT when the receiver had three guys all over him.
Some of this has to be on the coaches. They must be told to put the ball in a spot and let the receiver go get it. Problem is, if the defense is there, it doesn't work very well.

Just need to see what Maryland was doing that took away our TEs all game.
Especially in the Red Zone. Mind-numbing.

D holds one of the more explosive offenses in the conference to 13 points, while creating 3 turnovers. At home..., and yet we still lose.

Nearly impossible to win games with 269 yards of offense and 5 turnovers.
