Rutgers week. Hot and windy weather, Suh N town

trying to prove cred on an anonymous message board is fruitless. He’s legit. You guys aren’t going to agree.
I like Easy a lot and enjoy his posts. We will obviously not agree that culture is irrelevant when it comes to football and business.

I would also have serious doubt that he would be an awesome President of the USA as he has stated in the past

The numbers are all fake that you're relying on.

If the economy is booming, and the employment and inflation numbers are under control, they why would the Fed Reserve need a 50 basis interest rate cut?

You would "think" it would make mortgage rates go lower, yet they are higher and long range bonds increased from 3.64% to 3.74%. Doesn't make sense, the Fed knows they've lost.
Inflation expectations drive things. Russia is experiencing stagflation. We’re likely headed that way too with our debt situation.

I’m not going down that mess again.

Never said culture is irrelevant, please point out the post I said that.

I would be a large improvement over the two candidates that think a lower dollar helps you, me or anyone else. I also said, there are many others on here that would be better Presidents than either of the two controlled opposition candidates.

I didn't say I've be an "awesome" President, just better. Don't insert words that I didn't use. Thanks.

We are likely headed to hyperinflation on the things we need, and deflation on the things that we own.

Another assumption is Rhule will win more than last year, then even more wins in Year 3. That's as far as his record goes.
Why is it automatic after Year 3 NU will continue to win 10-11 games a year when there is no track record of that?

What an odd question. It's like you just decided you don't like the Nebraska coach and are throwing sh^t against the wall to discredit him. Rhule has improved the record of the teams he has coached every season, including his fourth season at Temple. He clearly knows how to instill a culture and build a football program.

I like Matt a lot. I think he's a good, not great coach.

Do I think NU will always lose 3-4 games with him as the coach? Yes, and part of that is being in the BigTen. OSU, Mich, Penn State, Oregon, USC, occassionally Iowa makes us subject to the whim of the schedule maker.

If NU starts to get too big for their britches, you can rest assured our buddies who write the schedule will make it difficult with all the heavy hitters.

I'll be happy to go 9-4, 10-3 every year, cause a natty is a million miles away at this point.

How would you like Kentucky's schedule? So. Carolina, GA, Ole Miss, TN, TX.

Hopefully the next fix is to rank Memorial Stadium in their Top 25 toughest places to play list. Memorial doesn’t get nearly enough of a boost in the game.
The fans do their part most of the time. All of the losing the past X years takes us out of the equation, for now...

I heard 40 mph gusts on the radio today? Is that right? That's gonna hurt our offense if that's the case.

Yeah, but it will hurt theirs too. They are gonna run the ball no matter what the weather is like, so we need to be ready to stop the run. And that isn’t an harder to do in the wind. We do that, they will struggle to score 10pts.

I think the key to Rutger game is to control their run game. I don't think their quarterback is much of a threat in the passing game. I think Shiano wants to play mistake free football, pound opponents with their run game and play solid defense. DR is too good of a passer to get completely shut down in the passing game.

You can’t practice for heat, it will be interesting how Rutgers handles it along with a wind

We had practice 2 weeks ago when we played at Virginia Tech. Visitors sideline faces south-southwest, was in the sun all afternoon. Temps ended up much higher than forecast, upper 80's, and from our vantage point it didn't appear we brought any cooling equipment for the sidelines.

There is a big difference between upper 80’s to 95+

He might be average but appeared that he’s better than Lutovsky. I’m fine with however Rhule chooses to handle his players.
I can’t figure out why people say that, “I’m fine with however Rhule chooses….”

It’s not like Rhule is waiting for all of our approval or disapproval. I doubt a single person on this board knows everything that went down.

I guess I am fine with everyone being fine with whatever as long as they win games.

I can’t figure out why you have to point out every other posters statements that don’t matter. It’s not like anyone is waiting for your disapproval, but you freely give it every chance you get.

I guess it’s a free board so I’m fine with your constant calling out of posters…

Still waiting for TruHusker to answer the two questions I posed in another thread.

He just likes to call out other posters, doesn't like when it happens to him.

Yes this is bad news for us. Our offense is more of a passing offense than Rutgers. This hurts us more.
Some what yes i think the intermediate to short passes will be fine. It’s the long ones that the wind tends to carry concerns me more anything is if the winds are that strong the punting field goals not worried because we can only make extra points
