Definitely not available for spring and not able to lift for months. Not using this as a "didn't want him anyway", but I heard Sipple say he needed shoulder surgery and probably wouldn't be available for the spring practice...

I’ve heard a complete recovery from labrum surgery can take up to a year. IF it’s his left shoulder that’s especially concerning for a left tackle. He might make it back by September but I doubt he’ll be 100%. We’re desperate for a left tackle and it’s worth the risk for us.I don’t believe either NU or OU would have wasted a scholly on the guy if they thought he wouldn’t be ready to play. Just my opinion.
Why would Raiola - whom we’ve been told over and over is a good recruiter & coach - knowingly go after a player with one arm?
Right out of the playbook of every crooked and greedy politician. He should have thrown in an American flag in the background just for good measure.quoting scriptures is such a lazy cop out
Because we’re desperate for a left tackle. Rouse at 75% is better than what we’ve hadWhy would Raiola - whom we’ve been told over and over is a good recruiter & coach - knowingly go after a player with one arm?
Both of OU’s starting tackles declared for the draft, so they might have been desperate as well. Might explain why both schools pushed so hard to get him. Even if not 100% he will provide depth, at the very least.I’ve heard a complete recovery from labrum surgery can take up to a year. If we have a good coach and recruiter in charge of the OL, how is it we are desperate to fill the most important position there?Because we’re desperate for a left tackle. Rouse at 75% is better than what we’ve had
Not a good look for the OL coach in my opinion. If we have a good coach and recruiter in charge of the OL, how is it we are desperate to fill the most important position there?
Something doesn’t add up
It was greg Austin's faultIf we have a good coach and recruiter in charge of the OL, how is it we are desperate to fill the most important position there?

He didn’t recruit Benhart. Do you want him to play an incoming true freshman that he did recruit? How quickly you forget that he did get a starting center for us through the portal that came largely to play for Raiola. Scott has also started some games at left tackle for ASU.If we have a good coach and recruiter in charge of the OL, how is it we are desperate to fill the most important position there?

Unfortunately, a one-armed Rouse is better than what we got.Why would Raiola - whom we’ve been told over and over is a good recruiter & coach - knowingly go after a player with one arm?
