College football will never see a line dominate the way his did for such a long period of time again. More importantly is how his players felt about uncle milt. And how he felt about them...the stories he could tell and the names he could remember was astonishing to listen to. RIP

That is such a testament to coach Riley and his staff...that current players would build such a close relationship with him too. Seeing him kiss the hand of David Knevel showed his humility, and brought a tear to my eye.

To 80's kids that grew up in Nebraska (and probably 70's kids too), Milt was like an uncle that you never got to meet but you felt like you knew him. I bet I learned the name Milt Tenopir before I learned the name George Washington or Abe Lincoln. The guy was a hero to the state and had just as much to do with the success of the program in 90's as TO did. RIP Uncle Milt.

I would assume I received a "Like" from David's dad or one of his relatives. I'm so glad David and Milt got the chance to know each other. It was truly moving to see them interact on the video.
