While we all hope for another win over OSU it might not be in the cards.
Should Riley get smoked again I would be in favor of telling him he is finished at Nebraska at the end of the season bowl or no bowl.
When you listen to Riley it's clear he loves the game but doesn't have what might be a normal emotional investment. Almost a third person perspective. His players and assistants emulate his demeanor.
IMO he can be dead coach walking and it isn't going to change the way he approaches the game. His incentive is to try to send his players out in the best possible way knowing he did his best and give his assistants as much support as is practical to move on with their career.
Anyway if it were me I would make that decision before a new AD is in place and give the guy a clean page.
