Our offense thrives on speed and timing. CFB is basically NFL lite at this point, why not be the first team with a retractable roof! could you imagine how much louder it would be for opposing teams??

That would obviously involve demolishing/abandoning Memorial Stadium. It's a non-starter - never going to happen.
I do like the idea of sound capture canopies on the South and North Stadium sections.. may help with reducing the wind some on-field ( through closing off the wind channel tunnel field entrances would be more helpful) and also provide some shade for some people.
Heard the Chiefs were looking into it to be able to host a super bowl. They were told it would be cheaper to build a new stadium then adding a retractable roof.
Nebraska struggled to pay off the new athletic complex and the south stadium project couldn’t get off the ground and you want a retractable roof?
Not “officially” though seems very likely. Nothing has been agreed upon on either side of the state line.

That’s a new practice facility they are talking about. There is a sales tax extension to pay for renovation of Arrowhead on the November Ballot .
