So Benning is waiting for what exactly? I figured he was a ‘silent’ commit and would announce this weekend during the bye week. Well, that window has come and gone essentially ,so is he thinking of announcing during a signing day ceremony? I heard one the recruiting gurus was now of the belief that Brix would also wait until signing day to reveal his choice. Perhaps both are waiting for ‘measurable’ results from this year’s Huskers before announcing.
I knew he visited them in late July or early August, I didn’t know he visited during the season.
Rhule came on the scene with Lacy when everyone else had cooled down. Think that goes a long ways with the kid. But we need another RB. If EJ thinks he has enough right now with just Lacy, he’s dead wrong. But to add to your statement, We need another RB so I think we will be in a scramble to find a second one at the end.

I think Brix is torn between his top three. Any sort of momentum this program can muster would help. Like a bowl win?
The RB room could get really thin next year. Who knows if Gabe is going to come back from back to back major season ending injuries. And the same goes for Rhamir.
With all the injuries mounting up at RB we should know we need to recruit more than one. Lacy might be a stud BUT what happens if he's injured?
Yes, we have to plan on gabe and johnson being done. Even if they're back they likely won't be like they were, get a portal and/or juco guy(s) as well.
While I agree we will need to expand the RB room, Rahmir's injury was a separated shoulder so I don't see why he wouldn't be like he was. I'll be surprised if he comes back anyway but for a RB, an upper body injury isn't normally as devastating as a lower body injury.
yea, shoulder should be less of an issue. I'd be surprised if he comes back also, could see him transferring.

According to the article linked below, Demas signed with Texas A&M and played for them in 2020 and 2021. Then he was suspended because of legal troubles, which involved family violence assault charges. He didn't play in 2022 and transferred to Garden City Community College for the 2023 season.
