Really like volleyball but not a knowledgeable fan. Need help understanding recent recruitment.

Transfer portal likely on will eventually leave. Plus injuries happen you need backups at every position . DR is a sophomore why did Rhule bring in 2 QBs this year.

Do you think they should only have 6 players on the team? Maybe 7 if use a libero? Are you suggesting a new roster strategy for VB?

With 2 pro leagues in Omaha I wonder if that adds more likelihood to players leaving early along with transfer portal & NIL reasons.

She's just following the tried-and-true path to a title - spend a year or two at Nebraska before you transfer somewhere and take down a natty.

Or maybe Reilly needs some competition. I'm no expert but I didn't think she had a great tourney with ball distribution and placement.

Now that Kennadi Orr graduated....we have no backup, which is not a great position to be in. I imagine the new setter will redshirt and only play under emergency scenarios in 2025.

I started watching late in set one. 3 set sweep for Omaha. Caffey and Hord play a lot. Krause was in some. I didn’t see Batenhorst play but didn’t watch it all. Attendance looked awfully low there in Grand Rapids. CHI center was 3/4 full (around 13,000 attendance) at season opening game on Friday.
For the fun of it I looked at tickets for League One Omaha team first home game looks to be mostly sold out in what used to be called Ralston Arena. Last few games of their season are at Baxter Arena I suppose after UNO basketball season ends.
