2025 Springfield (Neb.) Platteview three-star tight end Reiman Zebert had plans to officially visit Nebraska June 21 but I've heard from a couple sources that visit will no longer happen.

He's coming off official visits to Duke and Stanford, and is really intrigued by the educational opportunities at both programs. Wisconsin still in the running for him. Nebraska already holds a commitment from three-star tight end Bear Tenney and remains in pursuit of Millard South four-star tight end Chase Loftin. The Huskers would have loved to have Zebert but given the depth at the position and their continued pursuit of Loftin, this isn't a bad deal for both sides. Path to playing time is easier at Duke and Stanford, and on Nebraska's end, the fact they pursued Zebert as hard as they did was really appreciated by him and his family. If the opportunity to transfer back does present itself down the line, that door would hypothetically be open because this has all gone down on good terms.
