So, have there been a determination if AM2 had an injury prior to the "official" injury that took place yesterday? An unreported injury would explain AM2's play this year. If not, I'm at a loss to explain his falloff from the end of last year.

If was injured prior to the injury yesterday, it raises a question in my mind about why they put him out there with the injury. Especially given the results. But I don't know if anyone on the outside knows if he was injured previously.

Another tidbit from Steve Taylor on the radio yesterday, he mentioned that his sophomore year he had a injury and he didn’t say anything to the coaches, he didn’t want to lose his job. I understand that it’s called competitiveness. But there comes a time you become a liability to your team.

If you believe in conspiracies, maybe Adrian is dating a girl who is a undercover operative from the Iowa staff and has him brainwashed, like the Manchuria candidate

I heard the same discussion on the radio. He said (Steve) he sure wasn't going to tell anyone because he didn't want anyone to know he was hurt from fear of losing his starting job. He sure wasn't going to discount it and supports making a change to try to get a spark. Nothing personal but you gotta do it if only for a series or two just to try.

Yeah. Even Tom did what he had to to get the win. I'll never understand those that don't have "win" as their number one goal.

OMFG...his qb rating is higher in 2019 than in 2018...his completion % has dropped 4%, which is a few passes...he is averaging more yards per completion and on track for more td passes. He had 3 INTS against OSU, but has been decent in that category in the other games. He lost an all-conference receiver, a 1000 yard rusher, and the leader of the offensive line, who happened to also snap him the ball and make all of the line calls. Those SENIORS were replaced with freshman or juco transfers in every case. JFC, men on this board are so petulant...there are literally a dozen things you can complain about on the offense...nearly every player outside of maybe JD and Wandale have had AWFUL games repeatedly. And some of that due to inexperience and lack of talent. He had his own lineman sprain his ankle, and has to catch poor snaps 20 times a game. He also has to lineup effin players on the offense on nearly every play because they don't know where to go. Keep in mind he has never been critical of the garbage around him, has taken the blame every time, even in games where he nearly has 500 yards of total offense. He has handled the pressure with class and poise, at 19...his mentor was flippn' his shit when he was 21 and had all-americans all around him. AM is literally the least of our worries.

You can't coddle your QB. You need to give him a wake up call. EVERY other person on the team has been subbed out for poor play, well maybe except jurgens and Armstrong. But kids won't become adults if you don't rattle their cages and give them a reality check. What doesn't kill you makes you stronger. And watching from the sidelines never killed anyone. If you can't handle that, go back to the locker room and turn in your helmet

I don't think having AM watching for a series or two at the side of HCSF on the sideline during a game, if the offense is stalling out, is a bad thing.

But dang, our guy has lost a lot around him and that's just the O line, in my opinion, THE most important unit in the college game. In the pros you HAVE to have a fantastic QB to dominate. I think you just have to have a manager at QB in CFB from what I've seen at the college level.

It wouldn't surprise me if he's had a groin issue as much as it seems he's lost a step in his rushing game.
