How many multi-year starters does Stanford have on the OL that want to transfer.
And honestly they can’t all be good. Stanford was awful and if the games really won up front someone their line must not have been too good. Like one of the 3 transfer maybe good. But when basically the whole line is transferring chances are you aren’t getting a great one.
New coaching staff could have a lot to do with this as well.

anyone he would potentially replace on the roster would likely not be missed
I'm sure the staff takes at least a cursory look at all players that enter the portal.
I remember fans being excited when Eichorst met with a coach out west assuming it was Shaw. Little did anyone know he was meeting with Riley.
Stanford was a baddass football program when we wanted him. They were 100X better than we were at the time and lots of programs wanted to poach Shaw..
