I don’t want anybody from a team that went winless in their conference last season
Including the purdue castoff QB
Those guys are losers & we already have enough

He gave up 0 sacks all of last season on over 300 snaps. He would be a huge get.Pass

Purdue QB is not a long term answer for anything. They just want a viable backup if a true freshman isn't ready to. Chances are he'd be here one year then dip.
Doesn't Buffett still own Champion(unless I'm mistaken)? Maybe we should work Nebraska into that brand and create a new niche. /jkUnfortunately for us Buffett has higher aspirations than college football. Phil Knight on the other hand probably gets some return on his investment for promoting something he loves.
I’m confused regarding the QB. Per Purdue site he had zero snaps last season ( redshirted?). Why is the staff even hosting the visit, HH is a better emergency backup than putting this guy in. Hoping we can do better. He gave up 0 sacks all of last season on over 300 snaps. He would be a huge get.

Someone stated that Holgrorsen recruited him when he was at Houston. So, this must be someone that Holgorsen is targeting based on what he saw when recruiting him out of HS.I’m confused regarding the QB. Per Purdue site he had zero snaps last season ( redshirted?). It is amazing that we are going to be at the point of having potentially just 2 scholly QB's. Both Freshman. If something were to happen to DR we will be in serious trouble.Because he transitioned to tight end.
That leaves us with DR, and a true freshman Lateef QB on scholly
We also have Bode Soukup and Luke Longval who I assume are walk-on and good chance they are gone come fall.
Makes sense to have at least a 3rd scholly QB on the roster who is potentially serviceable or better. He was a high 3* or 4* qb in high school with a good arm.

how many Nevada games did you watch this year?He has given up zero in over 800 career snaps. Good news for Kong is we will probably get outbid by Oregon for him.
You can always put HH back to QB in an emergency. It's been proven time and again we're never going to give DR any real competition. It is amazing that we are going to be at the point of having potentially just 2 scholly QB's. Both Freshman. Im not even talking competition. We have to have a serviceable backup and a backup to the backup. Our offense sucks the way it is. Imagine it with an incapable QB. HH is a TE it's not fair to expect him to jump in and run the offense at this point. You can always put HH back to QB in an emergency. Interesting. Definitely combing the FCS ranks for potential players.
Time and again, what are you going on about now. Just dismissing the competition he beat out last year and the incoming competition. You can always put HH back to QB in an emergency. It's been proven time and again we're never going to give DR any real competition.
Beat out or was given? 5 chances to make plays to win the game and 5 times he blew it. Any other QB would have been rightly eviscerated for this.Time and again, what are you going on about now. Just dismissing the competition he beat out last year and the incoming competition.

Unleashed six "havoc" sacks? What the hell is a havoc sack?
It's like 5*+. It's made up to sound better 😅Unleashed six "havoc" sacks? What the hell is a havoc sack?
This sure looks like a good prospect to me. He had success at his prior school. A young kid who will need to adjust to the step up in competition. We still need to get a big run stuffer, maybe a grad transfer? Is juco recruiting totally off the radar now?Jaylen George is commited. DL from E. Tennessee St.
You've been attacking him since before he enrolled. Do you not count?Beat out or was given? 5 chances to make plays to win the game and 5 times he blew it. Any other QB would have been rightly eviscerated for this.
For being a loser...why did both Oregon and Ohio State offer?how many Nevada games did you watch this year?
guessing zero.
I watched quite a few, and there is very, very little drop back passing in that scheme. he isn't asked to do anything remotely close to what we ask our OTs to do consistently.
guy's a loser. purdue QB is a loser. we need winners.
Proof? Pretty sure I said he had a cannon of an arm and would go to the NFL in 3 years. You've been attacking him since before he enrolled. Do you not count?
You didn't say you would have rather have McCord? Which would have meant no Raiola.Proof? Pretty sure I said he had a cannon of an arm and would go to the NFL in 3 years.
No I said I would have taken both. You didn't say you would have rather have McCord? Which would have meant no Raiola.
That wasn't an option. We've been over this. It was only possible to take one given the circumstances, and Rhule chose the correct option. No I said I would have taken both.
That type of mindset is the same line of reasoning a lot of you justify settling for ugly wives and crappy jobs. Think bigger. That wasn't an option. We've been over this. It was only possible to take one given the circumstances, and Rhule chose the correct option.
Some of us live in reality. McCord wasn't going anywhere he wasn't guaranteed to start. Raiola wanted a chance to compete. You think McCord left OSU for Syracuse because of anything other than the guaranteed starting job? You think Raiola was coming to a bowless team where he was guaranteed to redshirt? We keep going over this and you just refuse to acknowledge reality. That type of mindset is the same line of reasoning a lot of you justify settling for ugly wives and crappy jobs. Think bigger.

I know you wouldn't want to compare wives.
It wasn’t an option to get both. Are you honestly that dumb of a person to realize this.? That’s an honest question toThat type of mindset is the same line of reasoning a lot of you justify settling for ugly wives and crappy jobs. Think bigger.
Pay both, you get both. We already had the money aligned for McCord, but then pulled that and gave it to Dylan instead. It wasn’t an option to get both. Are you honestly that dumb of a person to realize this.? That’s an honest question to
Wrong when Dylan came McCord hit the road after no guarantee of being the starter.Pay both, you get both. We already had the money aligned for McCord, but then pulled that and gave it to Dylan instead.
