guess so. missed that one.Didn't Cuse just promote that asst coach?
Am I the only one that feels like Cuse is a shit job?
pretty unceremonious
I think it's a good job - power conference school in NY state with lots of tradition

Syracuse Orange men's basketball/Head coachdon't forget Syracuse
I believe PSU's coach will absolutely be up for that one
Yeah, I think they sort of just rushed to give him the job when they tricked Jim into signing those retirement papers.guess so. missed that one.

Rumor is, about 5 coaches have said "no" mostly because Del Conte is a jackass.
But Terry is making it really hard to not be the guy.
I think Del Conte hired Dixon, but they barely overlapped. Del Conte left the following year, so they were still in the honeymoon period.Did Jamie Dixon get along with Del Conte at TCU? If so, you'd think he would be the logical choice.
Job security is worth a lot. 1.3 million in Nebraska is a nice check and no doubt they have a nice retirement package etc.Yeah, the new AD sort of knows that he has Mac where he wants him (for now)
This cycle as of right now doesn't help either, nothing is really open except fro ND and UT.
ND would be a nice gig. UT would mean Macs death in about 5 months. UT boosters are insane.
Oh yeah, for sure.Job security is worth a lot. 1.3 million in Nebraska is a nice check and no doubt they have a nice retirement package etc.
Terry might be doing a bit of a "sneaky" interview with PSU and Cal.
UT AD seems to have a really hard time with thinking he should be the next HC.
Wonder if that means Tang will actually talk to Del Conte this time and leave KSU...which means KSU will call Underwood (alum) again...
Interesting!
He would (this is not me saying it just stupid insiders and a few guys that really seem to know a lot and are connected to Illini Hoops), be on the short list but not #1.Then McDermott to Illinois?

But who knows with these things. Still lots of smoke that UT is doing all they can to get Coach Cal away from Kentucky and I could see him leaving, UK fans are sick of him. Which means Muss would probably go to UK which opens up Arkansas.
He was up there like "What the ****"
BB coaches never, ever leave K-State for greener pastures!*Wonder if that means Tang will actually talk to Del Conte this time and leave KSU...which means KSU will call Underwood (alum) again...
Lon seemed to have the right idea...leave each school after a few seasons so the fans will always remember you fondly.BB coaches never, ever leave K-State for greener pastures!*
*Except for Lon Kruger, Dana Altman, Bob Huggins and Frank Martin.
I thought about including Cotton Fitzsimmons and Tex Winter as well, but that seemed like piling on.Lon seemed to have the right idea...leave each school after a few seasons so the fans will always remember you fondly.
When it comes to Lon, he might be the best X's and O's coach in game over the last 30+ years.I thought about including Cotton Fitzsimmons and Tex Winter as well, but that seemed like piling on.
And thinking Thank God i haven’t signed the contract yet.He was up there like "What the ****"
LOVE HIS HAIR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
In fairness, wasn't Frank fired?BB coaches never, ever leave K-State for greener pastures!*

Not by K-State. South Carolina fired him last year.In fairness, wasn't Frank fired?
Quincy Allen is the exact kind of guy who can take 10+ shots/game for us next yearColorado has a trio of players in the portal:
CU Buffs transferring
Nique Clifford is a good athlete and a decent player. Would step in and get minutes if he landed at NU. As I mentioned before, Quincy Allen is a buy-low candidate who was DC-area HS player of the year and has some serious talent. Might end up being a bust, but someone will give him a shot.
Hard pass on Lawson Lovering. Seven-footer who can defend okay, but can't make a FT or hit the rim from more than about 5 feet.
It's none of my business but when I read this I just imagined that you had the opportunity at a threesome with 2 hot Creighton cheerleaders and you made a deal between God and yourself that if you pulled it off you would forever root for Creighton basketball. If Creighton let Greg walk away without matching whatever offer Greg might generate elsewhere I'd be dun with that school....I have a special place in my heart for em for reasons I won't go into but that would be it for me...if they don't care then I won't either.
I just doubt we have the NIL $$ for basketball to land some of these guys. Our alumni base is tiny compared to some of the schools we’re recruiting against. It’s too bad that Buffet was bullied by athletes as a kid.
I am sincerely hoping he was watching how much Griesel seemed to enjoy his year in Lincoln. You know what Dorothy says....Isaac Traudt from grand island in the portal redshirted his freshman year.
Yeah, but he is a total chucker. Shoots a ton and low %. But like you said, those PU guards really struggled with pressure.Caleb Love should go to Purdue. They’ll get most of their players back, maybe even Edey and he’d be the one player their missing since their Freshmen guards choked away the end of the year
He’s a good ball handler. I think he could be an asset to them. UNC was all out of whack and both guards were wild shootersYeah, but he is a total chucker. Shoots a ton and low %. But like you said, those PU guards really struggled with pressure.
We should repurpose 40% of the charitable contribution fred is due this yearI just doubt we have the NIL $$ for basketball to land some of these guys. Our alumni base is tiny compared to some of the schools we’re recruiting against. It’s too bad that Buffet was bullied by athletes as a kid.
