Beck would be a very good hire IMO. KU should have hired him years ago. With his high school ties in Texas he would have made them bowl type respectable quickly. He’s not a polished speaker but he’s a damned good coach who has been a scapegoat more than once.
That surprises me. I thought Liberty was going to offer the job to Art Briles.
Probably not Art. Disappointed in Chadwell, doesn't have it in him to take on the big boys.
Seems like a lateral move for Chadwell. Perhaps Liberty is paying him more but in terms of prestige it's about a wash.
Liberty is paying way more, he only made like like $850k at Coastal. Liberty is paying him over $4 million/year.
He's also a really religious dude, so he probably likes being at a place where he can be open about that.

Banker and Busch are kinda the same guys to me.
I expected zero, but they both came around.
It wasn't Moos's fault for hiring Scott Frost. It seemed like a no brainer at the time. I fault Moos for giving Frost an extension after two losing seasons.
