So I am flipping between hockey and the Pats game...New England cannot run the ball for crap but they are dinking and dunking all over the place....short passes and quick passes...Isnt that kinda what our passing game is supposed to look like? I mean our line cant pass block for shit and Lee is a statue. Is it because the wr corp has difficulty getting open or just a combo of suck everywhere

Tanner Lee has been inexcusably bad, but neither the receivers nor the line are doing much to help him. Watching the receivers get blanketed by rutgers’s DBs was disturbing.

Dink and dunk only works when the team has sure hand guys to throw the ball to. Does this team have one sure hand WR, TE, or RB?

If you were the QB and it was 3rd 5, who are you throwing it to in this offense. Whose Mr reliable? I am sorry but there is not one. Morgan and DPE can make plays but they can also drop balls too. Hoppes was suppose to be the guy but that has remained to be seen. JD & Lindsey are young and still drop easy passes. Was hoping Kieron could be that slot guy that could be that too but he's always hurt.

The fundamentals of football on this team are poor. I think that's why Riley is on the hotseat. You can blame a lot on talent but when your guys continually beat themselves, then that is on coaching.

I honestly think our players "think too much" and that is because they are being over coached. No one has told them to just go out there and play ball, like they've done since they were in Pop Warner. If Morgan and DPE showed this bad of hands in High School, they wouldn't have been recruited. And I am not talking about the balls they drop in coverage, I am talking about the balls they drop when they are wide open. The easy ones.
