Detroit Cass Tech 2019 CB Xavier Goldsmith dropped me a note this afternoon letting me know that he and fellow sophomore teammate RB Jaren Mangham will be visiting Nebraska on Jan. 13. Neither has an offer from the Cornhuskers yet, though both have several offers to their credit early in the process.
And, I would say this is of note because even though Nebraska did not land either Jaylen Kelly-Powell or Donovan Peoples-Jones in this class, they got official visits out of both and with young Cass Tech guys making visits (2nd visit to Lincoln for Goldsmith) shows they are building a reputation at the most prolific talent-prjoducing school in the Midwest.
