This one was buried on the sports page online, but hey, at least it's not subscription-only this time!

Apparently it was pretty funny to Erstad that he told the reporters he wasn't going to give details on the lineup, then Altavilla goes to the podium and starts giving the potential lineup.

CF: Ben Klenke will get the first crack.
SP: Matt Warren will be a weekend starter.

Lineup Flexibility (we know most of this already)
Altavilla: SS/3B.
Roskam: 1B/3B/C
Henwood: INF
Hallmark: INF/OF

Altavilla mentions a lot of confidence out of Palkert (RH reliever).
LHP McSteen is a candidate to start.

No mention of Tillotson, Engelken, Eddins, Frazier, or Matt Waldron. The scouts at the conference tourney last year liked Waldron, so I'm curious to see what role he fills.

Had to look up Hallmark's bio. Wasn't expecting to see his name mentioned so early.

I predicted he would get the start at 2nd or the outfield depending on who stepped up where. Kid looked great through the fall and hit for a pretty good average. With Klenke taking the CF job it seems Hallmark will get an early shot at 2nd.
