Gods country
I have had encounters with ass hat, never physcically worked a hard day in their lives, disrespectful pieces of crap like Trump. And I have no problem calling them on their brash and arrogant bullshit. I have led anything but a sheltered life. I wonder if Trump has ever been in a physical confrontation? I mean he single handiedly got B1G football back but has he ever went thru a grueling two hour workout....... He doesn't strike me as someone who has had his nose bloodied or had his ass handed to him. Maybe by a porn star, maybe...

No one is taking my guns away, or yours either. Is that the platform of the dumbocrats? News to me. Overturning the second amendment in one term? That is a serious scare tactic you have bought into! I hunt a half dozen different seasons and protect my home/property with gun powder and bear spray. There is zero chance of normal people with normal guns losing them in the foreseeable future. But having a real conversation about reducing mass shootings is an ok thing, unless you think that they are ok? And when I say compromise I mean somewhere in the middle, so that might include some ideas from both sides. If you voted for Trump you are not a choir boy, but hopefully you don't respect most of his values and morals. You are welcome to support many of his policies and I am good with that... If you genuinely respect him as a human being, then you and I probably won't be able to do more than exchange pleasantries in passing with anything other than Husker sports and Meridian news.

Trump doesn't make fun of me behind closed doors? My free lunches and cancer and student loans and my special needs child and my golf stroke and my wife who had perfectly awesome breasts cut off which would no longer meet his standards? Me making ten times more a year than my mom when I was growing up but still needing to work a second job to make ends meet and help my extended family out? My mask that I wear at work and me avoiding large gatherings? Sorry, but Trump and his party supporters are making fun of me and my family. Trump absolutely has no idea how the average American lives and his policies and attitude show this.

I don't give Trump and his brashness any respect because I don't believe he has earned any. Sasse calling Trump bad for the Republican Party elevated my stance on his politics, because he is actually correct. I am hopeful that the Red party finds a new leader and restores integrity to their respectful platform.
Look I apologize your entitled to your opinion I over stepped i get it you don’t like trump and that your opinion and that’s great I like trump and that my opinion and hopefully you res my opinion

From Sleepy’s town hall mtg. a cut & paste.

"You can ban chokeholds, but beyond that you have to teach [the police] how to de-escalate circumstances," said Biden. "So instead of anybody coming at you and the first thing you do is shoot to kill, you shoot them in the leg."

Now tell me why anyone would vote for this dithering, lying, thieving, brain dead, racist, old fool?!

Kevin McCullough correctly predicted 2016, within half a state. He's got Trump winning again in 2020.

Apparently Trump's DOJ disagrees with you on the unmasking thing.

And are you saying that evidence has confirmed QAnon? He likes to retweet stuff from them as well. That's what I was referring to.
For whatever reason Barr has declined to prosecute members of Obama's staff. Some prosecutors generally believe prosecuting a President for crimes involving political actions in particular should be handled by impeachment. They fear that if you open the can of worms of prosecuting former executive branch officials for political crimes after they leave office that it would create a never ending problem for sitting Presidents.

Barr is in a little bit of a pickle because IF here were to press charges now, it would clearly be seen as a political ploy. Meanwhile he's pissing off Trump and many Republican Senators and voters by sitting on this until after the election. I don't what the right answer is but clearly coupled with some of the disclosures from Hunter Biden's emails it points to a question of Biden's integrity. He has either conveniently forgotten some things or has lied to the American people.

That said, the information that was declassified is very damning to Obama, Biden, Comey, Brennan etal. The fraud perpetrated to get that FISA court warrant was in fact criminal. Hillary's involvement is irrefutable. IMO, there should be prosecutions and depending on how the election turns out, I believe there will be at the very least of some FBI agents. Subpoenaing a former President and his Vice-President during an election year is not gonig to happen. Unfortunately the way the swamp works, this will likely all be forgotten once the election is over. The left will have control of the Judicial branch if they win and if the Republicans win they will figure it doesn't matter anymore.

during a telephone townhall with Nebraskans.

Sasse, who is cruising toward re-election, said Trump:
  • refused to take the pandemic seriously
  • treated the pandemic as a news cycle PR crisis
  • "Kisses dictator's butts"
  • "mocks evangelicals behind closed doors"
  • "regularly sells out our allies"
  • "flirted with white supremacists"
  • "has treated the presidency like a business opportunity"
“I’m now looking at the possibility of a Republican bloodbath in the Senate, and that’s why I’ve never been on the Trump train,” he said. “It’s why I didn’t agree to be on his reelection committee, and it’s why I’m not campaigning for him.”

Im sure that means he is voting for Biden too:)

No, but they can follow the Trump hype nonsense so far !
Fox polling had Hillary up in 16 as well. Popular vote polling means very little. Trump ran an electoral college strategy the last time and is doing the same this time. It will be interesting to see if that works this time. Biden is rolling in cash from big tech and multinational corporation execs. He's outspending Trump by more than 2:1. We'll see if Biden and his leftist allies in big business can buy this one.

You better take a look at employment numbers and pay for black citizens during Trump's first 3 years. COVID would have beaten us up no matter who was President this past year. Government programs have failed miserably at helping black families. Raising up the economy is the best way to help working people.

I agree with this sentiment 100%. We arent very good as a nation being told what to do for extended periods of time. No matter who was at the top we had and have an uphill battle

What did Obama do?

What was Hillary Clinton's involvement? She wasn't even part of the administration in 2015-16. She left her Secretary of State position in 2013.

Hunter Biden's e-mails. Are you talking about the NY Post story to which the writer wouldn't even attach his name to the by-line because he had doubts to the accuracy of it? The story that's being investigated as possible Russian propaganda?

The black unemployment rate went from 16.5% in January of 2010 to 7.5% by January of 2017 (a more than 50% drop). To match, Trump would need it to drop to 3.75% by the end of a hypothetical 2nd term. The lowest it has been under him was 5.4%

Now, I personally don't believe that the president has much to do with it one way or another. But, if you insist on giving credit, then give it all the way around.

Wow. Asking questions makes one a "comrade". Must be nice to through life not being able to think, and not being aware that people laugh about it behind your back.

Oh; I voted Libertarian in 2012 and 2016. Between the two of us, that makes you the commie, not me.

Uh huh, and the media is portraying registered democrats who voted for Hillary as "undecided."

Biden is not well and Kamala is awful. Trump might win bigger this year than he did in 2016.
when he lost by 3 million votes. You right wingers would be howling like Kim Cattral from Porky's were the shoe on the other foot. If you wore shoes. If Porky's wasn't too fancy for y'all,

Oh we care about what happens with China, and plenty. That's why the US (Trump) led the charge to ban Huawei from establishing their 5G network here. It was painful for Britain, Australia and others to do so, but they followed suit. Deep down, they understand the threat of the Chinese surveillance community (ahem, CCP) to the sovereignty of their nations

Countries now understand that because of the Wuhan flu and unfair trade practices, it is too risky to have all of your eggs in their basket. As we decouple from China (not easily done, but happening) it makes supply chains more reliable and will strengthen the economies and relations with countries such as Vietman, India, Latin America, Indonesia and the mid east. They are also buyers of American military hardware and they will trade with us more. This is a good thing. So if a sourpuss like Merkel or a wimp like Trudeau fusses, so what? they're only hurting themselves. America is still in the lead.
Yeah. In the lead for Covid deaths, how much money we spend on health care, unemployment, hours worked, and mortality rates, gun violence. Leading like a mofo'r. Reading you yapping like a drunken chihuahua about all the things Trump has "accomplished" left me in such a fit of laughter, I slapped my knee so hard it glows. Seems like the same type of guy who claimed Frost would have our beloved Big Red back in the Natty Champ hunt after 2 years. You are that guy. Blowhard.

Led the charge or continued longstanding US policy dating back over a decade?

Trump is polling poorly all over except for uneducated white males. I actually trust none of it. 2016 shows anything is possible. He will lose the popular vote by over 5 million but as we have said here the popular vote means zero. I hope like hell he loses and doesn't pout and say it was rigged. I wouldn't be surprised if he pulls something out though
I consider myself an uneducated white male...... because uneducated white males is what they label non democrats. But I think I/we have more real world smarts and common sense than the high society"well educated" lot

Most economists consider 4% full employment. The U.S. bureau of Labor Statistics put the unemployment rate under Trump under 4 for the 12 months leading up to COVID. There was a HUGE decrease in unemployment among blacks and wages rose which always happens during periods of full employment whether you are black or white. One of the problems for inner city people in general is their inability or unwillingness to take jobs outside of their old neighborhoods.

WOW. Is Trump perfect. Heck no. But I beg to disagree with a lot of what you've said and that's fine. Trump is a business man and not a politician. A business man is brash while a politician is kissing babies while stealing their lollipops.

I sympathize with the problems you've personally had but don't see how that's Trump's fault. As far as DJT not working a day in his life, my words, that's wrong. He grew up in construction starting at the bottom learning grunt work.

I'll leave it at that. Could go on. Hey, I respect you in so many ways knowing you and hope to continue good conversation. But be careful. We'll see how election goes but Beto wants your guns. Peace
