Jeff Beck is probably the greatest rock guitarist who ever lived. Hendrix may have been had he lived longer. Beck was innovative for decades. His style evolved over many years. He wasn't content to play just one type of music. No one sounded anything like him. No one ever will.
I know it's not Jeff Beck, but this guy is a guitar god too.
When Eddie passed, it was kind of the day the music died for me. There was and is, never a time when I listen to or watch Eddie play where it doesn't either put a smile on my face or put tears in my eyes. Mostly both.and Edward too..

Everyone dies too soon. Well, except for Keith Richards.
I remember after Morrison died Rolling Stone had an article about the dead 3 (Joplin, Hendrix and Morrison) and predicted Richards most likely to be next. Here we are 51 years later and he is still with us. I expect whoever wrote the article is probably dead along with most of the Rolling Stone editorial staff at the time.Everyone dies too soon. Reminds me of the meme I see from time to time of Keith and his granddaughters with the caption, "when they die, he will inherit everything."
Was watching a Traveling Wilburys video the other day and was sad over how many of them are dead. Those guys were great with God given talent.........fvck Autotune.
