OT: Relationship advice-Urgent!

i need to know if I should cut the cord. Something very troubling happened yesterday, and I fear there is no coming back from this, and would like some sound advice from the great minds of RSS.
Yesterday I received an email from my girlfriend while at work that simply stated this: "Just saw that Nickelback is coming to town! We should get tickets!!"
Is there any hope of salvaging this relationship after I found out that she was serious with this suggestion?
I am really torn up about it, and need some help. TIA
