Seeing Bautista getting smashed in the face and having his hat and glasses fly off will always be one of my favorite plays in baseball, ever. Could not have happened to a nicer douchebag.
Puke. Didn't realize I had to prove a hall of fame players' moral compass in order to provide an example of baseball's long history of brutality.Ty Cobb was also know for other things. 100% don't buy the explanation stated above. Extremely poor choice of words by poster. If it's latin's impacting the game, than say latin's...much better than making a general color of skin comment-which I think you couldn't be more incorrect in implying as a main factor in what transpired here.
Good luck in determining accidental vs intentional. Ego's and pro athletes mean things can get very dirty, very quick in any competitive match It is both part and not part of the game. In general the Bluejays (specifically Donaldson & Bautista) have caught a lot of attention in how they play the game in respect to their competition. I'm not surprised to see them involved at all
It was a simple example to prove a simple point. How about George Brett? Is he upstanding enough to use as an example as someone who was brutal at times? You don't. But if you're going to comment using one player's behavior IMO they are fair game for comments on their other behaviors too imo...
Brutality? This isn't genocide here...I think you mean dirty play (which is found in all sports)
