RSS family ... as many of you know I'm serving over in Kabul, Afghanistan and a couple of days ago my family notified me that my sister is in ICU, sedated on propaval (same drug that was used on Michael Jackson) - and on a ventilator ... the labs have shown her with severe asthma and influenza A. She has been in ICU for 5 days now and they continue to try and get her off the ventilator without success. She has 3 small children who my family is trying to care for and still be able to spend time at the hospital as well.
Please keep her in your prayers. I considered taking emergency leave but am delaying that until there's a gap in support at home or God forbid something else happens. Appreciate your thoughts and prayers.
