OT - Norris beats Pius with 70ft buzzer beater

Please don't be so blind to this... I have long had a theory which is already proving true down here at our school and many others across the nation.... NIL being the name of the game means that the effects at this level will trickle down to the High Schools...

If you have a talented child and you have the means to put them at a High School where they will get noticed then these parents will surely do so so they can attain the best NIL deals in college. The traditional High School Power houses will reap the benefits of these kids moving in. - Not to mention HS's that are looking at paying players as well

You saw this last year in Nebraska where programs either quit mid-season or were so badly blown out that it wasn't even a game.

Down here we have had kids moving in from out of state just to play football here for years and now with NIL it's getting more and more prevalent. The Strong will get Stronger and the weaker programs will have to figure out where they stand... it's unfortunate for sure

Believe me, I agree with you. However, especially in Lincoln and Omaha recruiting isn't limited to the private schools.
Option enrollment schools all recruit. The only advantage Catholic schools have is they can control enrollment to stay in a certain sports classification.

You believe everyone on a Catholic school roster is Catholic? What purpose would you have to send your Methodist religion kid to a Catholic school?
You don't have to be Catholic to attend Catholic school. I'm sure that's been the case for quite some time now.

Many non-Catholics like the private schools (Catholic) over public schools.
