The FBI screwed up, that's why he got the gun, not because of a lack of laws or regulations.

He should not have been allowed to buy a gun because he was arrested on drug charges. It says it in the article. I posted the article for everyone to read.

Also, being the FBI director does give him a lot of credibility. In what world can you make an argument against that?

OK new AD, i think this terrorist attack just shows how important our intelligence agencies need to be. Once it gets to an armored vehicle we've lost as a society. The PC police need to step back and we need to get tough with Muslim terrorists.

Regarding the first part, nailed it. That's what terrorists do, inflict terror, often ongoing. We start responding by putting tanks on every street corner, they've accomplished what they set out to do.
