OT: Just a Hypothetical ?, but how would Patrick O'Brien fit into Scott Frost's offense?

It isn’t scare tactics. My comments or opinions don’t affect what those 2 do. But Gebbia is in a better situation to transfer than POB. If POB leaves he is going to have to drop down a level, he only has 3 years of eligibility remaining and will have to sit out one if he transfers to another FBS school leaving him only 2. So far he has high school tape and 4 plays at Nebraska. Not much to evaluate.

Secondly if you read my original post I said both QBs won’t be here not neither QB will be here.

Highly unlikely Gebbia goes anywhere.

Jesus, I can’t f_cking wait for this season to end.

You're not the only one.

Hopefully the team can show massive improvement under this staff next year, they trajectory is definitely pointing in that direction, did you see how gassed the Wisconsin offensive line looked at the end of the game? Almost like they couldn't play another snap.

Looking at that 2018 schedule we should be favored against Akron, Troy, and Illinois. Northwestern will prob be a push.

Assuming we improve a lot, we should probably be able to handle both Akron and Troy so it's possible that we could be 2-1 going into the Michigan, Purdue, Wisconsin stretch of the schedule.

Can't wait.

Don't worry, if it doesn't work out, you can always blame talent / depth / Pelini for 1 more year. After that, will need some new excuses though. I'd highly recommend sticking with the :"assistant coaches" excuse although it's a tough one to make stick to anyone but the head coach.

Not until he puts on 35 pounds.
UCF quarterback has the same weight listed. Taylor Martinez was the same weight coming out of high school and he lost a step when he put on weight. Taylor had more strength than you'd think. Same thing with Lamar Jackson at Louisville. He's a little bigger, but I see him truck 240 lb linebackers. It's easier to be more elusive when you don't put on a bunch of weight.

As would be the case in Riley's system as long as our O-line is swiss cheese. We looked better in pass pro against Wiscy, I will give them that. With that said, if Riley is lucky enough to be here in 2019(highly doubtful)...that QB whether it be POB or Gebbia is going to struggle. This is based on past first year starters at QB under Riley.

Ha ha Gebbia is not any of those guys. He isn’t a runner that can throw the ball. He wasn’t a running QB or safety in high school. 165-185 lb Gebbia gets killed against Big Ten defenses.

Martinez never played a whole season without injuries. Not all based on size but he was always hurt. Name the last 170lb QB that survived the B1G uninjured.

Gebbia stands a better chance staying healthy when he isn’t intentionally putting himself in situations where he is running 15 times per game on designed runs. QB Durability would be a bigger issue in Frost offense than Riley offense

So you think Frost would actually retain Cav?
