Okay. Im going to admit something here. I sincerely need advice.
I see the following :
1) The confederate flag represents
A) rebellion against our nation
B) racism for hate groups, maybe not everyone
2) People around the US seem to think this flag represents some of the great things about our nation.
3) I am all about freedom of speech.
4) Everyone should be allowed to wave the flag
5 ) Nobody has taken your rights from doing so.
But I get offended by the flag no matter what i tell myself. It does get under my skin. I see it as representing nothing more than rebellion against the nation we live and as a symbol of hate.
Somewhere I am wrong. Please help me figure this out, because this is eating me up. If you want to flame me, then do it. Its a free country. But I am tired of being offended by the recent love for this flag.
