Yeah, and the past 6 years that Stoops has been gone, OU is 5-1 against Texas. Got any other great comments?bob stoops is a hof coach.

Didn't ya hear? The Big 12 is a major conference. They got Iowa State... uh... um.... Nebra... no they left... um... Missouri... no they left... who can forget Oklahom..a... nope, they left... Texas A&... shoot, they left too... uhhhh... Texas!... there, I got one!... what?? Texas left too?? Damn. Let's start again. Iowa State... uh... um...Yeah, and the past 6 years that Stoops has been gone, OU is 5-1 against Texas. Got any other great comments?
well yes, lincoln is at usc now.Yeah, and the past 6 years that Stoops has been gone, OU is 5-1 against Texas. Got any other great comments?
And not doing as good as he needs to. Another few seasons like last year and he'll be gone, and he doesn't have a great QB to bail him out for 2024.well yes, lincoln is at usc now.
riley's an elite offensive coach. he's brought in some new defensive coaches. fix that side and usc will be salty. i'm anxious to see how they deal with travel and weather out here in the flyover zone. those two variables should not be taken lightly, methinks. And not doing as good as he needs to. Another few seasons like last year and he'll be gone, and he doesn't have a great QB to bail him out for 2024.
i'm not sure where you guys get this "bend over" nonsense. texas and k-state had some great games. the last comment from their fans i read after last year's 33-30 thriller in austin: i don't want to ever see those sons-a-bitches again. the b12 ended 11-7 texas. in mbb it ended 22-22 in conference play. in wbb, k-state led the series 34-18. so there was no 'bending over' to the horns.
No. August 2nd.And I assume USC, UCLA, Oregon and Washington are officially B1G members as well today.
Does change the fact that Texas will be better than OU in the SEC.Yeah, and the past 6 years that Stoops has been gone, OU is 5-1 against Texas. Got any other great comments?
can you imagine what this poster acts like at the dinner table when someone asks: what books have you read lately?
Can you imagine a KSU fan living on a Nebraska board 24-7? Oh wait. Nevermind.can you imagine what this poster acts like at the dinner table when someone asks: what books have you read lately?
this board is different in that i get an email whenever a post is made to a thread to which i've earlier commented. Can you imagine a KSU fan living on a Nebraska board 24-7? Oh wait. Nevermind.
Great. If you just stayed on your own board you wouldn't have that problem. Nobody cares about the Big 12 or KSU anymore. It's 2024. Not 1999.this board is different in that i get an email whenever a post is made to a thread to which i've earlier commented.
keep telling yourself that.Great. If you just stayed on your own board you wouldn't have that problem. Nobody cares about the Big 12 or KSU anymore. It's 2024. Not 1999.
Enjoy the new Little 12 sans Texass and Oklahoma. Im sure you'll be fine begging for table scraps while waiting for your invitation to the Big 10 or SEC.keep telling yourself that.
That will never be coming. He'll be crying into his power towel.Enjoy the new Little 12 sans Texass and Oklahoma. Im sure you'll be fine begging for table scraps while waiting for your invitation to the Big 10 or SEC.
He thinks the Big boy schools will join the Big 12.😂 Keep dreaming. That will never be coming. He'll be crying into his power towel.
I don’t give them a chance to ask.can you imagine what this poster acts like at the dinner table when someone asks: what books have you read lately?
we enjoy wbb down here. only b12 team to beat catlin clark twice.I don’t give them a chance to ask.
Much like you, I’m busy spouting women’s basketball records, and they love every minute of it!

there was no trophy at play for beating iowa. i suppose N has one though as it is a b10 thing to trophy some pretty awful stuff like the ole broken bucket and somebody's hog.Did that accomplishment put any hardware in the trophy case?
Haha the troll can't stop. I am embarrassed for you.there was no trophy at play for beating iowa. i suppose N has one though as it is a b10 thing to trophy some pretty awful stuff like the ole broken bucket and somebody's hog.
You're about ready to be kicked out of here, your garbage has gotten old.there was no trophy at play for beating iowa. i suppose N has one though as it is a b10 thing to trophy some pretty awful stuff like the ole broken bucket and somebody's hog.
Not much fatter.Arkansas guy looks like a fatter Matt Rhule. A@M. I told y'all. I told you about Texass. Oregon State and WSU still trying to find a home. Nope.
That must come as great comfort to an insufferable gasbag who’s avoided at all costs by real live human beings. What a fantastic social life you’ve carved out for yourself.this board is different in that i get an email whenever a post is made to a thread to which i've earlier commented.
Are you referring to the Old Oaken Bucket? If so, that dates back to 1925 - so, nearly 100 years - and is rewarded to the winner of the Indiana-Purdue game.there was no trophy at play for beating iowa. i suppose N has one though as it is a b10 thing to trophy some pretty awful stuff like the ole broken bucket and somebody's hog.
i was not the one suggesting a trophy for beating iowa. i was making light of the thought. and i have attended several purdue/iu games having lived in the state on two separate occasions. i know the tradition over there. and yes, the game is meaningless and has been pretty much for our entire lifetimes to all but hoosiers. basketball on the other hand - whew! Are you referring to the Old Oaken Bucket? I know that's not a game that really anyone outside of those two schools care about, but it is steeped in history and tradition. Which is one of several in the B1G.
I would think that any true college football fan would appreciate that, seeing as how one of the top complaints these days is how the game is losing so much tradition and regionality.
But then again, things like history and tradition are not known to anyone left in the Big 12, so your take is not surprising.
He was not suggesting a trophy simply for beating Iowa. He was just showing you that a couple of victories over Iowa has not added any trophies of any kind to the vast wasteland of a trophy case in Manhattan Kansas.i was not the one suggesting a trophy for beating iowa. i was making light of the thought. and i have attended several purdue/iu games having lived in the state on two separate occasions. i know the tradition over there. and yes, the game is meaningless and has been pretty much for our entire lifetimes to all but hoosiers. basketball on the other hand - whew!
Between BC and ClemsonACC kick Cal out already?
The world has changed a lot in the last 30 years ... and NONE of it for the better!!These new alignments are bizarre. Every game has become a non conference game.
It's less fun without the rivalries of old.
I'm sure people are circling BYU- Utah on their calendars right now. It's right up there with all the other stellar Big 12 match ups.😒there are a few rivalries returning though that will be good: texas/aTm being paramount. byu/utah - the holy war - will also be good for the game.
i like most rivalries. this cougs/utes one is a bloodbath. isu/iowa, auburn/bama, usc/ucla, all those sorts have a certain charm to them not found in the likes of N/minnesota or k-state/baylor.I'm sure people are circling BYU- Utah on their calendars right now. It's right up there with all the other stellar Big 12 match ups.😒
#16 will always be Vandy...that kind of sucks for them.
No. Way Texas wins the sec the first year
well, it will be interesting to watch them in the sec which is clearly overblown for quality, right? texas and oklahoma can now test the "clearly" premise. i suspect ou struggles, while the horns challenge. my view not being alone.No. Way Texas wins the sec the first year
