I don't see any SEC fans posting over and over about how much they hate the transfer portal and NIL on this board

just the same people who are sucking off kirk herbstreit's alma mater & beloved conference

Why would we root for TD Jesus and slobbering Lou Holtz? Big 10 baby!! Get on board. No more Big 12. Fvck the SEC.

you didn't?

okay. if you say so

you didn't?

okay. if you say so
Dear gawd you angry self righteous chump, your quote cut off at the clause where I specifically referred by the word “you” to the other poster, which I presume you chose to do do you could make your incorrect response.

I don’t suffer fools lightly. I live every day in a logical world. You’re clearly not part of it sparky. Gnite.

I believe you need to look up the definition of torching when talking about passing in football. As I type this they found their one nut of the night just in time. Before this their long was 24 yards.

Congrats, a 2 loss team that did not win their conference title let alone didnt play for it just won the first playoff. Juggernaut
Using the rules of a little over a decade ago the NC game matchup would have been Oregon vs Georgia. Neither team won their first playoff game and both were beaten badly by the two teams in the final. Even if we still used the 4 team playoff OSU would have been out. ND would have been the 4th seed.

For me it's moreso this than actively rooting for other Big 10 schools. I don't particularly care for them. But I care for the SEC far less.
I don't know why it's so hard for certain people to comprehend. I want what's best for NEBRASKA. And that is playing in the Big 10. The best and most profitable conference in the country. Big 12 is a bunch of nobodies making chump change. Fvck the SEC. Period. End of discussion.

never thought in a million years I'd see a Nebraska fan say this in all seriousness

openly rooting for the school that robbed Touchdown Tommie of his Heisman and the conference that threw NU to the wolves for wanting to line up and play football while the sniffles were going around

be sure to wipe your chin when you're done

then Desmond Howard is ready for his turn
You forgot to call me a cuck. You openly root against the conference and against rationality. It's proven we have the best conference. When you can't back up your arguments you resort to name calling. Grow TF up. GO B1G!

The Big Ten is currently the best and most dominant conference in college football.

Urban Meyer, Colin Cowherd have all just said (I’m watching post game shows) that it is unquestionably the best. Mostly for one reason. $$$$. Also good coaches and ADs. But mostly $$$$.

The Alabama AD was on local TV begging for NIL donations. OSU has 66k students. Michigan has over 51k. PSU has over 88k. B1G has a massive and very wealthy alumni base and they funnel that money back into their universities.

Now you throw in USC, UCLA, Washington and Oregon. It’s not even close.

Other than Texas and Texas A&M, no SEC school can match the money. The gap will widen in the coming years.

Then there’s the media deal.

Per CBS Sports, B1G schools made over 100m this year from the media deal. The SEC will top out at 75M.

B1G will simply buy the best athletes and nobody in the country (other than Texas) can compete with that.

There’s a reason Saban got the fvck out after losing to Michigan.

My only hope is that Nebraska starts translating that money into wins on the field.

Very real cases of serious Stockholm syndrome happening with some of our fans. Legitimately feel bad for some of you

Exactly, and genetics are hard to overcome if he's not naturally fast.
He is fast enough to get the first downs and scramble yards he needs to. But he can be a lot better at it.

Hitting wide open receivers is also something he HAS to do for us to win games. He can't miss east TD's like this year.

I waa rooting for ND because I thought having a northern school that doesn't try to outspend everyone and who's a former blue blood finding success on the national stage again would give hope for us.

The funny thing is NIL isn't why Ohio State is on top and Nebraska is celebrating it's first bowl win in 7 years. Ohio State has been at the top since like forever. They always win double digit games. They've won with Cooper, Tressel, Urban and now Day.

Nebraska has dominated with one coach and they took advantage with a walk-on program and strength training. Nebraska lost it's identity after getting blasted by Colorado and haven't ever regained that swagger. Now they are part of the richest conference in the sport. Use some of that revenue share you get and get some players. You know you got a portion of every payout Ohio State got as they advanced right? Notre Dame gets to keep everything they got to themselves. So Michigan and Ohio State winning has made Nebraska money.

You can be bitter and jealous and call them cheaters. But if Oregon or Penn State win it all next year, none of that matters. People were saying Nebraska was a dirty cheating program in the 90's because there's no way they should be beating Texas, Notre Dame, Michigan, Miami or Ohio State. But they did and all those other fans were just jealous. Minnesota has been crying and reminiscing about their glory days. Don't be like Minnesota. Go be a Blue blood, you got the history and resources.

i'd agree they never lost it. Poorly worded on my part. Maybe should said it different...was trying to convey a blue blood from the north that hasn't won a title in forever.

Oh, okay gotcha. Whew. Because if they're no longer a blue blood, then we are definitely no longer a blue blood. And last I checked, we damn sure are.
