Kelly released a statement, dismissing Redfield (starting safety) from the team and suspending Butler indefinitely. The remaining players are still subject to any penalties the University brings down.

So yeah, for the poster taking shots at Kelly, you look pretty stupid right now.

It wasn't exactly a crazy thought to think nothing would happen, we've seen it play out many times. Some thought something would happen, some didn't. About the same as on any board, but I don't think anyone suggested it was stupid to think one way or the other, until you just did.

1) How can one make that claim when most of the time disciplinary action is made by a committee of administrators and not just the head coach?
2) The news that just came out with the Redfield expulsion and Butler suspension promotes exactly the opposite of what's bolded above.

I understand the nature of the conjecture surrounding issues like this, but when people make unfounded claims you're going to find critical responses.

I am always amazed at how the ND haters will ignore and make up facts when the subject concerns Notre Dame. The hatred and envy is palpable.

Keep in mind that the penalties today are Kelly's. The University itself has yet to determine what penalties they will apply.

I was there, it was crazy. Even outside the stadium, most areas looked like a home game. The ND fans were great to us, just saying - one of my best road experiences. GBR
