Bo Pelini's players loved him (except those who did not). I believe FM's players are loyal to him, and that is admirable. With that said, you cross half-court and go into another team's bench, the technical (or double technical as necessary) should be automatic. 21/22 Mens Basketball Rules Book stated that increased attention and enforcement was going to be made to "Enforce the bench decorum, coaching box and other unsporting conduct rules fairly and consistently." That did not occur. That has not occurred more than once with FM. Woodson was well within his rights and on solid ground to state enough is enough.

I appreciate you as a poster here. This might not be a popular post but man you have been here for awhile and have pretty thick skin. You seem to be pretty reasonable with your responses and respectful just wanted to let you know that. I have quite a few friends here in DSM that are hawk fans.. most are good dudes. I would consider you one as well

As an Iowa fan, I know the players love him as they feel he has their back. As a fan however, his act has grown more than old. I would be more supportive if he has had more success, but zero sweet 16s during his time has led me to want his time at Iowa to be over.
Your standards are higher than ours regarding basketball. The first Husker coach to get an NCAA tournament win gets a statue. Guaranteed.

Ohio St and Ioway weren’t scheduled to play that year as usual..
Big 10 and PAC 10 didn’t want to be part of the alliance which matches the 2 highest rated teams.. Playing in the Rose Bowl was more important than winning a national championship, so it was those two conference’s ducking out of wanting to win a National title..
