We know exactly why the OSU game was lost. It was there for the taking. We called a bad game and the offense didn’t execute. Watch the tape, and move on quickly. All focus on UCLA. Play hard. Play confident and loose and we are bowling. That’s step 1 in this program rebuild.

Our offensive coordinator needs to call more runs and vertical routes. That’s mainly what I saw wrong in that game. I just don’t think he has either the discipline or creativity to call a complete game.

That wide open miss to banks on that pick play was one of the few times this year he has schemed open a receiver.

True. Unfortunately it took an illegal pick to make it happen.

The WR needs to stop and be facing the QB with hands facing the QB like he is waiting for a pass to sell it and make it legal.

Oh well.

Running vertically gets teams to actually somewhat believe PA. I personally wish we would incorporate more misdirection or fake misdirection with Barney if Satterfield wants to go sideways. I think Barney has enough juice to make DC's account for him. Scrap the screens, they look disorganized and will lead to a pick at some point.
