Sanders kid started at 1.4 million
Hartman for ND got 992k
I've seen Sims got anywhere from 87k to 103k
Seems like a lot of money but it isn't relative to what other QBs get
We aren't serious enough about football at an institutional level
He'll end up transferring to Alabama or Ohio St, depending on how the QB room at Texas evolves.
No amount of NIL money is going to get a top QB to Nebraska. We haven't put a QB into the NFL since the 1970's and we're currently the worst program in P5. At best a huge NIL offer would steal a middling QB from a mid-major.

as i've said since callyhan we need more than one. have to have at least 3 capable of p5 play. one wont work out, one will get injured during season and hope one will be adequate or better. one legit p5 qb is a recipe for disaster. this isn't that hard. nothing is guaranteed with these young men. you have to have 5 maybe's on your roster at all times and i dont mean one maybe and a bunch that will never come close.
I believe Rhule took the advice of another coach that he worked with on Sims
so around 1 million for the sanders kid and around 100k for sims. i guess you get what you pay for. maybe we could spend some more money on facilities. see how that works out.
I’m with you on that. I’ve said since NIL start weed the University needs to fund facilities projects and ask the boosters to put all their $$$ toward NIL.
the dollars are there. just need directed in a more effective direction
