Ankrah has been listed as a linebacker which I don't think he has the speed to play in the NFL. With all the linemen injuries Jones might have the best shot of landing somewhere. Heaven knows my Vikes need a couple of bodies. I don't see Zaire on Denver's roster anymore so I assume he's gone too.None of those are surprises but do hope they get another chance.
Nothing Braylon Heard did surprises me. You DO remember his struggles to qualify academically don't you and then his problems learning the offense? Braylon should have stayed at NU found a role and got his degree. Our academic support could have gotten him through a degree program by now and he could have found a nice job somewhere around here and traded on his Husker ties for the rest of his life.Heard declaring early is still a major head scratcher.

I wonder how patient they'll be with Kenny's "injuries"?They will place him on IR before they cut him. They like him more than Russel Shepherd.
Rex should be fine. They know what a hard working good kid he is. He can also help them at other positions including special teams. I would like to see Rex land on a team where he gets a better chance to shine at RB though. Is Rex safe? I heard the Bengals have a rookie backup they really like but Rex has been playing all over the place including slot and obviously special teams.
You always kind of wonder with him if he couldn't be that emergency 3rd QB on the roster. You know he knows the whole offense as well as the QBs. Valuable valuable guy that is a good tackler on special teams as well. He could return punts, play RB, and WR and do them all well. Easy guy to root for.Rex should be fine.
