People ripped on Bo and his roster management...Riley was just as lame...BUT NICE

I get the sentiment on Riley’s roster management. But I think people forget how poor Bo was at it. When Riley took over there was only 6 scholarship OT, which doesn’t sound bad until you realize 3 we’re Seniors. And there were 4 scholarship LBs. Luckily we ran a 4-3 so we could have a sub...... (For reference Frost is getting 14 LBs and gets 5 OTs -not including Gates, but including Farniok - none of the OTs are Seniors.)

Also, there was only 4 scholarship RBs on the roster, which is the same amount that Frost is inheriting. So that was the same for both staffs.

Frost has correctly stated that CB and WR numbers are low. There are 6 scholarship WR (including Darlington, but we included Adam Taylor earlier in Bo's RB #s). This is bad. But is it having one substitute bad like the Bo's LB position group?

There are 3-5 CBs and 4-6 Safeties (depending on where you put Dismuke and and A. Anderson). Again, not great. But not near as bad as the OT/LB position Riley got stuck with.

Now I am not trying to defend Rileys roster management, because the WR/CB situation is bad. But when you compare it to Pelini's, Bo's was clearly worse. Especially when you call out Riley for his RB numbers when Bo had the same amount and that includes Adam Taylor.

They both sucked...Bo sucked more. But Riley had 40 years of experience and still sucked.

Question on Dixon. If he moves into the dorms this weekend, how does he factor into determining our class rank? As least in terms of Rivals, transfers are not listed with the commits.

No factor in the class rank.

What weighs more, a ton of feathers or a ton of bricks???

You wouldnt beleive the ammount of people who cant answer that correctly..

Obvious answer. One rock weighs more than one feather!

So if you have 2,000 rocks, they weigh more than 2,000 feathers!

Completely agree. I love tricking my kids with these questions.

In fact, I just now asked my girls this question. One of my 9 year old twins just said the rocks weigh more and the other twin turned and looked her face to face and rolled her eyes! Then the first twin said, "Oh yeah! A ton is weight!" Laughing
