So, thanks to VetTix.org, I will get to attend my first Husker home game vs. Maryland. As it's my first time, I have a few questions for the educated masses here. First, I'm planning on having my Type 1 diabetic son with me. Does anyone know the stadium's policy on bringing his diabetic supplies in? We would have his testing kit, insulin pen and probably a small juice box and smarties in case he gets a low. Also, do the concession stands have nutritional guides for items they sell, in case he gets hungry and needs to eat?
Where is the best place to park? I am not at all familiar with the area.
I am supposed to pick up my tickets an hour before the game starts. What's the best thing to do in between that time and kickoff? It will be a three hour drive once I pick up my dad and sister. So we probably won't be there much earlier than ticket pickup time (unless parking sounds too crazy).
I am pretty excited. Can't wait to hang out with 90,000 friends to cheer for the team that I love! I'm sure it will be a greater experience than the Taxslayer.com bowl against Georgia that I went to a few years ago.
GBR!
