These guys have to learn how to win, hell every new player that week. You picks you're spots for teaching moments. Who is to say the team wasn't all N and telling the coaches to go for it. I had no problem with it. We're gonna struggle as we build.

I like how hard he plays and seems like a good kid but he would not start at any school in the big10

This staff is treating him like frost treated martinez. We need to limit his runs.
Not that it mattered because their drive didn't amount to anything, but in the 1st qtr purdont should have been called for intentional grounding. Ball didn't make it past the line of scrimmage
That would severely limit further our offense. We get receivers open in part because of the QB run threat.

This team, winning as ugly as it is, already has a different mindset than its has in many years. Last year, the year before, the year before that -- we would get a negative play or a shit call like that, and it would just open the floodgates to a litany of self inflicted wounds in and we'd get our pants pulled down.
Seemed like every week. Mentally fragile and seemingly unable to deal with any small adversity.
The last month, there have been plenty of mistakes, and the team just seems to go, OK, next up! Then go out and make that stop on 3rd and 2 instead of lighting the QB up 5 feet out of bounds for a personal foul.
Having an aggressive attacking mindset on D is a big part of the change. Preacher has em believin.
