Only watched the first half, but a few thoughts:
If Lamar Jackson is starting against Arkansas St., we are in trouble. Has difficulty being physical and finishing tackles. If Blades qualifies I expect to see him at that spot.
Dismuke has no problem coming up to lay the wood. Should give LJax some pointers.
Gifford should have played way more last season. Think he got ejected from one game and never saw him again. He moves very quickly for his size. Reminds me a bit of Stewart Bradley. Newby also has to get on the field somehow.
Avery Roberts looks good.
Gebbia could start for us this year if our other two QBs wet the bed (not anticipating this).
Tight ends seem reliable.
For all the ridiculous talk about firing Reggie Davis, it looks like we have 5 RBs capable of playing.
