Caught up briefly with Nebraska running back commit Kewan Lacy just now. I wanted to get his overall thoughts on his first game day experience in Lincoln.
"It was a great experience," Lacy said. "I feel great about next year and my class coming in. I can’t wait to work and build the program back up."
I spotted Lacy hanging out with defensive back commit Mario Buford quite a bit before the game. Those two were also with Florida native Jacory Barney Jr. a lot. Lacy said it was cool just getting to know each other more. He feels like they are all going to be pretty close.
Lacy also told me that his relationship with running backs coach EJ Barthel is going well.
"It's been going great got a lot of faith and trust in him and coach g [Garret McGuire]."
Lacy doesn't have any plans for visits right now but would like to be back in Lincoln for a night game this season if possible.
