Rhule made the call. Initially to help identify and fix issues with the O and then once he was here he pulled the trigger for play calling.
Rhule said in his presser this week was one of the most important weeks of his career to try and get these guys a bowl bid on senior night. Three weeks ago he said there was nothing he wouldn’t do to get to a bowl game for the seniors.
I have no doubt Dannen is telling him to figure it out - but also it’s not like you gotta tell Rhule, he’s on top of it.

OP is correct. Having an AD that knows and cares about football is something we haven’t had in a very long time.
Look at Wisky. Alvarez forced coaches to have a power run identity and they were very good while Alvarez was AD. Now they have no identity & will take Nebraska’s place in the suck category for years to come.
