I was looking for a reason to take my son to the Battle at the Boneyard tournament next weekend during what appears to be a busy weekend. My sister texted me last night and told me that my 13 year old nephew was invited to play for the Nebraska Select team at the tournament which is the only Nebraska team playing. His team has been dominating tournaments across the Midwest the last year and this would be the first time I get to see him play. What’s also pretty cool is that my nephew is reclassifying and redoing 8th grade again to get bigger, faster, stronger for football and he’ll likely be the youngest kid in the tournament next weekend.
