My jobsite was robbed last night

Really hate to hear about garbage like this. When I was DJing I occasionally had music lifted, but never had to deal with losing equipment.
I spent the majority of the day just pissed off. I need to go fishing or something by myself and just randomly yell cuss words every few minutes like some poor guy with Turretts.

Have you considered getting a Louisville Slugger and beating the crap out of the trunk of a tree? That works for me.

You would be amazed how much firewood I can manually split during Husker games when they play like poop. A couple of Bo's defenses, and the Ohio State game last year kept my living room warmer the last few years

Here in Lincoln. Please keep an eye out for a bunch of older Dewalt cordless tools (was lending these put to a younger kid until he could get on his feet), Milwaukee Fuel tools and batteries, Milwaukee big corded rotary sds hammer drill, smaller corded dewalt sds drill, and a bunch of other electrical knockout sets and specialty items. They also got a bunch of 350 MCM copper.

A lot of older 18v nicad crap. Impact drill, hammer drill, sawzall, combo drill driver, 3 chargers and 8 batteries (what I was loaning out to the rookie) and all the same stuff in 20v lithium, with only 3 batteries, 1 charger, and an led light. Milwaukee 18v lithium hammer drill, led light, 2 chargers, and three 5.0 ah batteries. Batteries were about a month old.

They took alot. My meter, about 300 bucks of hole-saw stuff, extentions, hand tools, taps, carbide sets.

What brand of Job Site boxes?

I will post links to the items I find that have been posted recently if that helps. Maybe something will turn out to be yours.

DeWalt Tools

Kept thinking I found more, but then realized they had been posted for more than a couple days.

Like some others in this thread have said, there is a chance they were traveling through and the tools are long gone, so that just means that the tools could be for sale on Craig's List through other areas instead of Lincoln.

Honestly, if that's what I did (travel around and steal things), I would never post something for sale anywhere near where I stole it from. But then again, thieves are stupid.

Yeah I have kept an eye out online. None of it is mine. I engrave and mark mine up pretty good

that's what we do, engrave the tools with a hand engraver.
sounds like they didn't take the job box but must have picked the locks..
I don't think there is room to bolt cut the locks.
most paddle locks are just to keep honest people out. they are easy to pick.
maybe a more expensive lock in the future and bolt the job box down from the inside.
or just keep them in the job box in the truck.so they are not on the jobsite at night.

I had a tool box of my own with hand tools that got ripped off once, and was surprised how much the police didn't care. the company I work for have all sorts of tools stole, but a couple times the pawn shops have called us with the tools. the worse was when a doctor who owned a farm stole our bobcat...we were lucky to get that back.

on the plus side there is a chance the thieves will be wiped out in the impending nuclear holocaust

I hope the cops catch them before you do. Hate to see a honest, hardworking man go to jail.
I don't depend on tools to earn a living but I can sure understand how much this hurts.
Sorry for your loss and hoping the criminals get caught.
Thanks man. Appreciate it.
